Educational Technology Listservs

Normally you can subscribe to a listserv by sending a short message to the list using the format:

subscribe NAME OF LIST your name

Some suggested listservs are

Material intended for distribution to the members of the AAHESGIT list may be sent to AAHESGIT@list.cren.net
Material intended for distribution to the members of the DEOS-L list may be sent to DEOS-L@psuvm.psu.edu
* Listserv commands may be sent to LISTSERV@PSUVM.PSU.EDU
Material intended for distribution to the members of the EDTEC list may be sent to EDTEC@msu.edu
Material intended for distribution to the members of the VIDNET-L list may be sent to VIDNET-L@uga.cc.uga.edu
* Listserv commands may be sent to LISTSERV@UGA.CC.UGA.EDU

If a list does not respond to your request, please inform us so that we may attempt to correct the problem by contacting the list administrator for assistance.

Try the web site for Dr. E's Eclectic Compendium of Electronic Resources for Adult/Distance Education, which is a list of listservs, such as the American Association for Collegiate Independent Study, the Adult Education Network, Alternative Approaches to Learning Discussion, and so forth--to mention merely a few.
