Our
19th Annual
Conference, to be held at the Claremont
Resort & Spa, Berkelely,
California, will begin on Tuesday, November 30,
2004, with a full "Day at UC Berkeley," a DET/CHE Board meeting for
the Board only, and a Reception that evening for all conference attendees.
Sessions and presentations begin on Wednesday, December 1 and continue through
noon on Friday, December 3rd. The Banquet will be held at Mills
College on
Thursday evening.
Corporate
Sponsorship at DET/CHE 2004
As is usual, all sponsor
tables will be in the same room as the plenary sessions. This arrangement
has proved extremely popular with everyone as it gives sponsors
ample time to meet and chat with DETCHE members during breaks and meals — and
by being in the same room as the presentations, sponsors will become more
familiar with particular campus technology issues.

Sponsors will be acknowledged
both in the program and at the microphone.
Includes
conference registration, program materials, table, electrical connection,and
breakfast and lunch on Wednesday and Thursday.
Silver level plus one ticket
to the Thursday night banquet and a ten-minute presentation during the conference.
Gold level plus two tickets
to the Thursday night banquet and a fifteen-minute presentation during the
conference.
Membership in
DET/CHE is not necessary to attend, but we encourage you and your organization
to consider becoming Corporate Members. Details are available on the DET/CHE web

Displays
Sponsor displays will be
in the Claremont Ballroom (4,779 sq. ft.) on Wednesday, December 1st, 8 AM
through 5 PM
and on Thursday, the 2nd from 8 AM through 1 PM.
A limited quantity of Internet
connections should be available for
display tables. If you require an Internet connection, let Brian Duggan know.

are always welcome.
Hotel
Reservations
DET/CHE conference room
rates will be $129.00 per night — single or double (market
rates for the Claremont are $169-$410). Call (800) 551-7266. Be sure to ask for
the Directors of Educational Technology conference rate so that your stay
is
credited properly. The cut off date for the $129 rate is October 29, 2004. (Arturo
Javier is our room reservationist for the hotel.) Access
to the Claremont Resort's wonderful
spa and

A complimentary 128K connection
is provided in guest rooms, and high speed Internet access can be arranged

Parking
The hotel charges $17.00
